L’ALBATROS:

Le Golf National, one of Europe’s most prestigious golf courses will host 120 players from the around the world. The tournaments will take place in the “Albatros” a course designed to test every aspect of a golfer’s game — from precision in tee shots to mastery of the short game. Get to know this challenging course

The Opening Stretch:
Holes 1 to 4

The “Albatros” starts off with a relatively straightforward par 4 to ease the golfer in, but the narrow fairway, and constant breeze from the north, require wind mastery, savvy club selection, and a precise approach to avoid traps.

The Mid-Section:
Holes 5 to 14

This is where the course starts to show its teeth. A dogleg-right par 4, two-tiered green, bunkers and water hazards, are all designed to test the best. Hole 11, a par 5, offers a birdie—if you can navigate the water hazards guarding the green.

The Dramatic Finish:
Holes 15 to 18

Hole 15 is a short but highly technical par 4. The wind can play a crucial role, and good strategy is required to avoid bunkers and water hazards. Hole 18, a par 5 with its narrow fairway and water hazards, is a dream-breaker.
